Feature

1/ 2/ 3

Atmospheric pressure

PlasmaTact generates plasma under atmospheric pressure.
It is a compact and portable atmospheric pressure plasma equipment, eliminating the need for expensive and cumbersome vacuum-related equipment.

Argon gas

Argon gas is an inert monatomic molecule.
PlasmaTact generates argon gas plasma.
Using argon gas suppresses ozone and NOx.

Microwave method

Typically, plasma is generated at low frequency, at high voltage.
PlasmaTact uses 2.4 – 2.5GHz microwave.
This enables low-voltage, low-temperature plasma irradiation.

Process Data

PlasmaTact uses plasmaized argon gas to modify the surfaces of thermoplastic and thermosetting resins, metals, and glass from hydrophobic to hydrophilic.
It is expected to be applied to pretreatment of difficult-to-adhere materials and cleaning of organic materials.

Structure

Control unit

This unit controls gas flow rate and plasma power. It can be operated with the buttons on the front panel. A remote control interface is also provided.

Plasma torch

Plasma is generated with this unit. Atmospheric pressure plasma is ejected from 2mm diameter nozzle. Surface modification of a 12 mm diameter area is possible. (Depends on gas flow rate, power input, irradiation distance, and irradiation time).
